Willa — Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your Willa account and the data associated with it. Willa is local-first: most of your data lives only on your device. You can delete everything yourself in the app, and you can also ask us to erase any server-side data — without reinstalling the app.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

Delete your cloud photos: open More → Storage & backup → Delete my cloud data. This removes photos backed up to the cloud. Your on-device copies are kept.
Delete your tracking data: open More → Pause or stop tracking → Delete my data to permanently remove tracking from your device.
Export first (optional): from Storage & backup you can export a full copy of your data before deleting.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete your account

To delete your household account (your email/login) and any remaining data on our servers, email us from the address you signed up with:

Subject: Willa account deletion request
Please include the email address associated with your Willa household account so we can verify and locate it. We do not ask for your password.

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

Data	What happens
Household account (email & authentication)	Permanently deleted.
Synced text logs (feeds, sleep, symptoms, growth, milestones, notes, etc.)	Permanently deleted from our servers.
Cloud photo & video backups (Willa+)	Permanently deleted from cloud storage.
On-device data	Deleted by you in-app, or removed when you uninstall Willa. We cannot access it.

What is retained, and for how long

Backups: residual copies in encrypted system backups are purged automatically within 30 days of deletion.
Purchase records: if you subscribed to Willa+, transaction records held by Google Play and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) may be retained where required for tax, accounting, and legal obligations. These contain subscription status only — never your card details.
We keep no advertising identifiers and run no ad networks, so there is nothing to delete there.
